Our head chef Javier Capella was born in Barcelona in
1978. He is a graduate of the Hoffmann Culinary School of Barcelona, one of the
most prestigious Michelin starred cookery schools in the world. Javier spent
several years travelling in Europe before taking up the challenge of managing
the busy kitchen at El Faro. He is renowned not only for his technical ability
but also for his creative re-invention of Spanish classics.
